Pleasant Valley Fire Department hosts an annual Volunteer hiring process every November.  The process consists of a written test, a physical agility test, and an oral interview. 

We maintain an active volunteer program with 10 volunteers.

Requirements: Must work 16 hours of shift work with the on duty crew each month. Must also attend at least 50% of the training sessions held each Tuesday evening at 1800 hours.

We staff the station with a Paramedic and an EMT 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  We staff extra manpower using our volunteers.

We will assist our volunteers with advancement to achieve their Firefighter I & II, EMT, or Paramedic.

To apply, applications can be picked up and turned in at the Pleasant Valley Fire Station.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please fill out the volunteer interest form and someone will get back with you.
